lost in pain

Posted by guest on Jul 24, 2008 in LPHS, Personal Story | 1 Comment ยป |

hi I’m 21 years old and 5 weeks ago i was diagnosed with lphs. it took the doctors 5 years and 17 ops to finally diagnose me.

i don’t see how doctors can leave a human being in pain as its against there Hippocratic oath. if i was an animal they would put me down as I’m a human i have to live with the pain but i don’t think i can.

i am looking for people who know what i am going through because i need to talk to them . right now there is no light at the end of the tunnel.

  1. Kiki,

I wrote a comment this past august on this site and also back in 2006. I know how you feel. I have done so much research at my own expense to try to help myself and then pass it along to others to try to fight this syndrome. There will come a point in our lifes that we will be free of the pain. I am in pain everyday of my life, actually now for 21 years pretty much everyday. Many people have wondered how I havent lost it yet mentally but I just try to think that tomorrow when I wake up the pain will be gone. It doesnt help all the time, but thats where my family comes into play. The only thought I have in which my doctors are looking into currently is if this is an auto-immune disease. Keep up a smile and If you are done I left my email address.
