Supine workstations (SWS) enable people to work in the reclined position.† Many people with back problems find relief from pain by lying down.† With a SWS, you can work on a computer while resting your back.

Ergonomic stores and back stores do not provide the extreme ergonomics needed to take all the weight off of the lumbar.† The homemade SWS, described in the following pages, takes all the weight off of the lumbar.
