Three physicians were reprimanded and fined for inappropriately prescribing pain medications to their patients, one of whom died with a toxic level of narcotic in her blood, the Minnesota Board of Medical Practice announced Friday.
In other action, the board also reprimanded a physician from Fargo, N.D., for continuing to practice medicine after his license to practice in Minnesota had been temporarily suspended.
